It is situated on the Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh border. The fort is overlooking a deserted hillock with a small village at the base of the hill.
Bassi
The village of bassi is 20 kms from Chittorgarh and has a historical fort, beautiful temples and a kund. Today it is famous for its woodcraft and miniature wooden temples painted with scene of the epics and exquisites sculptures that are sent for sale in the large city markets.
